Swine Flu- Vaccinate or Not?

I've chosen not to get a swine flu vaccination. I am not opposed to others doing what they want to do with their health, but to me, the media frenzy, whipping people into a state of fear, is difficult to understand.

I don't believe it is possible to get balanced information about the swine flu, the vaccinations, or even accurate statistics about who actually has had the flu.

In fact, in July the CDC ordered testing for H1N1 to stop, stating that they were overwhelmed with the case load, but if they aren't testing then how can anyone accurately predict which flu and/or severe cold cases are actually H1N1 swine flu?

Here is an excerpt from a CBS news story below.

While we waited for CDC to provide the data, which it eventually did, we asked all 50 states for their statistics on state lab-confirmed H1N1 prior to the halt of individual testing and counting in July. The results reveal a pattern that surprised a number of health care professionals we consulted. The vast majority of cases were negative for H1N1 as well as seasonal flu, despite the fact that many states were specifically testing patients deemed to be most likely to have H1N1 flu, based on symptoms and risk factors, such as travel to Mexico.

So health officials in the US are grossly over stating the true numbers of swine flu cases there actually are. Florida had the highest rate of accuracy with 17% of assumed H1N1 cases that were ACTUALLY H1N1 cases.

What about the deaths from flu compared to death or serious reaction from the vaccine?
