Is the master cleanse detox diet safe? Detoxing your body from toxins and chemicals is certainly not a bad thing, the amount of chemicals used in and on our foods that we buy today from supermarkets is not a good thing and that is why detoxing your body to flush out these harmful chemicals is probably one of the best things you can do for your body and for your health.
There has been a lot of celebrities coming out and telling everyone that they have lost lots of weight from using detox program like the master cleanse for instance, and that is great, although losing weight should really be secondary compared to the health benefits that you will get from a good detox program.
I would say that the only way that using the master cleanse detox plan or any other detox method is going to be bad for you is if you over do it or get obsessed with detoxing your body too many times. That is especially a worry for teenagers who see there idols in magazines and want to look as good as they do so they try a detox program at home and lose loads of weight but not as much as they would like so they keep on going and going until it gets far too much for their bodies to function correctly and that is when a detox diet can become unsafe!
As long as you have no underlying medical conditions and you have the all clear from your doctor to proceed and then use the master cleanse diet as instructed then you should have no problems at all in safely detoxing your body of chemicals and nasty toxins. The only hardship involved is keeping you on the plan for the required amount of time!
The hardest part of the master cleanse diet is the first 3 days and once you get through that you will be on your way to a new healthier body! If you want some extra tips and advice on how to stay on course with the master cleanse detox diet then Click Here
